THNX Jim-

It was something that I'vc always wondered. I have wanted to know exactly
where they were bivouacked.

Sickles's behavior in the advance shall always be troubling.

"Just the facts, ma'am."

Before Sickles advanced to the Peach Orchard how was the III Corps arrayed?

Did they actually set up a defensive line II Corps to LRT or did they
remain in marching or column formation? >>

The elements of the Corps already on the field remained more or less
massed in their overnight bivouac areas, and never did set up a defensive line
down to LRT prior to advancing. Even when the corps did move forward, if by
no means happened all at once.
