How many there as a  result  of the Civil War--a war that came about due  
to  
slavery?  I  seem to recall a history of Arlington  before it was a  
cemetery. 
I wonder who lived  there?

Robert  E. Lee, I thought you were already aware of that. I threw in the 
other two so  the "whole" story
would be known. If you are going to tell the history,  tell the whole 
history.
