You may enter these names during class when we have
time, after you leave if you have early release, or check out a viewer
to take home for the weekend. You may not come in if you are in another
class.
Vietnam Project:
The interviews are done. All you have to do is package one up
according to the directions at
Library of Congress
Paint hallway - Design and paint a logo for the hallway.
Schedule and plan Fund raisers - at least two
Lewis And Clark: You may work in pairs on this
project.
To make the journal cover, take a brown grocery sack
and cut it so that it makes a journal cover like we have always made.
Crumple the paper repeatedly until it becomes soft and like leather.
Decorate the cover with the Journals of Lewis and Clark expedition, and
the name of one of the people on the expedition. Find a representative
image of that person and place it on the cover. Put ten sheets of
paper in it.
Create a direction sheet telling elementary teachers how
to create this journal. Include the web address where they can find
more information on Lewis and Clark in Wyandotte County,
http://www.arthes.com/lewisandclark/
Mail it to a teacher in Kansas City, Kansas schools.
Quindaro Project- You may work in pairs on this project.
